WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO: Veterinary medicine is a second career for me, and one of the best things about becoming a veterinarian was being able to provide end-of-life care and in-home euthanasia for my own cats and dogs. It is a privilege to be able to provide this for other families.
BEST WAY TO START THE DAY: With a cup of coffee and cat purrs!
HOBBIES/PETS/FAMILY: My husband and I have four-legged children that keep us very busy: three cats (Spikey, Tiggy, and Butter Ball) and two dogs (Sarsaparilla and Leo Beagle). When I am not caring for four-legged kiddos, I coach Special Olympics for the Houston Express, volunteer as a Pastoral Visitor with the Catholic Chaplain Corps, and serve on our Parish Pastoral Council.
